Chief of Child Neurology/UNC Department of Neurology

Dr. Zheng (Jane) Fan is the Chief of Child Neurology and an associate professor in the Department of Neurology. She is a pediatric neurologist and geneticist. Dr. Fan’s clinical and research interests include sleep disorder in children, clinical trials in genetic syndromes such as muscular dystrophies, lysosomal storage disease and neurodevelopmental disorders, and neuroimaging in neurological diseases. She received her medical degree from Fudan University in Shanghai, China and completed residencies in Child Neurology and fellowships in Clinical Genetics and Sleep Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
